Upon registering with XStats™ you will receive your unique tracking code via email. Simply copy this code in its entirety and paste it in the bottom of the source code on each page of your Web site that you would like to have traffic monitored.

If I want to track visitors throughout my entire site, do I need to install the code on ALL of my web pages?
Yes! The XStats™ code must be on each page from which you want to collect traffic data.

My web pages are dynamically generated, does XStats™ support dynamically generated pages?
Yes!

How do I access my stats?
To review your stats online, go to: http://www.xstats.com/login.html and enter your username and password at the webmaster's entrance prompt.

How do I retrieve my password?
If you have misplaced your password, please go to: http://hit1.xstats.com/uis/password.asp and enter your account number. Your password will he emailed to the address that is registered as your contact email address in your XStats™ Account Manager.

How do I change my account settings?
To change your account settings, simply go to: http://www.xstats.com/login.html, enter your username and password and once inside the XStats™ Stats Lounge, click on the "Account Admin" link and follow the instructions.

How long doesXStats™ store my data?
Forever! If you want to know how many unique visitors you had on any given day in any given month, five years from now, we'll have that data for you!

Will XStats™ slow down my website?
No! The XStats™ code that you add to your site requires absolutely no additional loading time to your site's pages. The XStats™ gif image which accompanies the XStats™ free service is so small that it requires less than a tenth of a second to load on your page and therefore will not effect your site's overall performance.

My site is hosted on a shared server - can I still use XStats™ to track my traffic?
Yes! XStats™ is ideal for Webmasters using shared servers as there is no software or log-files to load and save on your shared server. Simply paste the XStats™ code on your Web pages and let XStats™ take care of the rest!

Can other people view my stats?
No, all of your data is confidential and secure.

Is XStats™ compatible with my operating system?
XStats™ is compatible with all operating systems as it is both server platform and operating system independent. So whatever you're running, XStats™ will work for you!

Is my information confidential?
We do not share assign any traffic data with specific customers or web sites. All of your specific data is strictly confidential and will not be shared or sold to anyone.

I have an ISP - can I use XStats™ to track traffic for my customers?
Yes! XStats™ is an ideal solution for ISPs/Data Centres - How many times have you had clients requesting traffic data from you and how many hours have you spent running reports for each request? With XStats™ you simply instruct your customer to place the XStats™ tracking code throughout his site and your customer will immediately be able to track his own data without any effort on your part!

Is there a limit to the number of pages and the amount of traffic XStats™ can monitor?
